This page will highlight many of the differences.
The 4.0 range also introduces the new Trio size (and new vernacular - "Mini" becomes Skycamp DUO, new size is Skycamp TRIO and the original "Skycamp" becomes Skycamp QUAD.
The DUO and TRIO have a narrower footprint on the vehicle's roofline - approximately 8cm narrower.
The 4.0 models have a larger opening than previous generations making any accessory that attaches at the entrance incompatible. We anticipate 4.0 compatible Annex Plus, Awning, and Insulation Tent to be available starting this Spring. However, the HC steps, Bracket Locks, Storage Rack, Shoe Rack and mounting caps remain compatible across generations.
The 4.0 range borrows some trim features from the current 3.0 DLX rooftop tents: cork lining on the floor panels and interior lighting for example. The will be standard in the new generation due to popularity and market research. Some of the other enhancements also add to production.
In Australia, we will be offering the RTT Comfort Mat Lite option (initially) due to local market research - the majority of respondents suggested they'd prefer this option due to added comfort and added storage capability when the mats are deflated.
